The annual Gingerbread Benefit is an exciting and fun event that
supports the work of Triangle Family Services. The gingerbread houses
chefs create and donate for the auction are symbolic of the foundational
support that we provide the area’s most vulnerable families every
day. Our programs and services are centered on the three critical areas
of family competency - financial stability, mental health and family
safety - with the goal of moving families from crisis to
self-sufficiency. The top five gingerbread houses, along with other
items, will be auctioned off during the evening's festivities in
addition to a silent auction showcasing a variety of items from local
businesses. Guests will enjoy holiday music, wine and beer, savory
delicacies and desserts prepared by Umstead’s top chefs.
