Share an afternoon enjoying "Tea with Santa", a chance for parents and children to visit with Santa. This event features specialty hot chocolates, teas and other treats, including peppermint bars, mint patties and homemade marshmallows. Explore the ball room featuring one of a kind handcrafted Gingerbread Houses created by the area's top pastry Chefs. Santa also will be telling some traditional Christmas tales and individual photos will be taken of each child with Santa.

Professional and amateur chefs create exquisite, themed, Gingerbread Houses which will be on display in the ball room of the Umstead. The gingerbread houses, along with other items, are auctioned off during the evening's festivities in addition to a silent auction showcasing a variety of items from local businesses. Guests will enjoy holiday music, wine and beer, desserts, and savory delicacies prepared by Umsteads top chefs. All proceeds benefit the program services of Triangle Family Services.
